| Projects realised by Fairtrade-Premium | Transport: The cooperative supports the construction of roads and bridges in remote regions and is an active lobbyist for better transport policies in regional politics. Women?s projects: Cocla has founded the Sumaq T'anta Women's Cooperative, which helps women to run microbusinesses and so improve the family?s income. Environmental protection: Training members in organic farming methods and financial support for a reafforestation project. Health: In the "Ayni Salud" programme cooperative members are giving training in preventive health and medical first aid. |
