Fair Trade premiums funded the construction of local kindergarten, primary and secondary schools, and continues to provide these schools with textbooks. In addition, the full secondary school scholarships are offered to workers' children. Productive Investment. The workers' Joint Body used Fair Trade premiums to fund a 5-day capacity-building training on financial management. The workers have also paid for training about Fair Trade for their delegates, and have sponsored educational exchanges with other Fair Trade farms in the area. |
